GWAH Cameroon joined the UN women and other stakeholders today to commemorate the international day of the girls child under the theme ” Our time is now.Our rights.our future.
Every child has the right to a safe, formal quality Education and access to lifelong learning, reproductive health care, right to protection, participate and others. How ever due to a combination of factors, these rights are violated. In response to this situation, GWAH was engaged in a sensitization campaign in which over two hundred and thirty adolescent girls were sensitized to understand and recognize their rights and how to respond to abuses.
Our team provided the girls with safe and quality gender- transformative education that they need to make their voices heard and learn to lead.
