Every beginning of the school year, we donate learning tools to internally displaced children to support and promote SDG4 which talks of access quality Education for all. The third edition of this program this academic year 2023/2024 was marked with the theme ” A PEN IS BETTER THAN A GUN. These IDPs were victims of the crisis in the north and southwest region of Cameroon who are now seeking refuge in Yaoundé, just like other major cities. How ever, the cost of Living in this capital city is high as compared to the regions making most of them to feel frustrated.This situation has cause many of them to return back to the regions and join the fighters as their only option. We believe that giving a pen or book to these children will reduce the burden on their parents ,prevent them from returning and build hope for a better future.
