Gwah Cameroon has been of great help to me as an individual and to the community in general. Gwah through their trainings on the protection of the girl child had been able to help me acquire skills on how to identify and respond positively to threats of violence on the girl child. I have been able to take the initiative to educate my female children on the different signals of sexual violence. I was actually naïve on the fact that family members can practice violence to others. Thanks to Gwah Cameroon I as I mother and care giver is able to great a safe environment for my kids and other family members who came around me.

I must testify that Gwah Cameroon is my model NGO . This is because of their educative program on the radio program My mother and I on the Cameroon Protestant radio FM 100.2 where I have been able to learn that it is important to educate our girl children on Menstrual hygiene before they have menarche . Before, I was very shy to discuss issues like this to my girl children but now I can feel free to talk about menses to my girl children and this has help to improve on the menstrual hygiene situation in my home and I have also been able to encourage my friends and neighbors to educate their own girl children who have also embraced the idea.

Gwah Cameroon through their mentorship and empowerment programs has help me develop courage to start life all over as an internally displaced person here in Yaounde. As a result of the crisis I escape here in Yaounde and upon arrival with no resources to start life as a business lady. Gwah gave me financial support to start a small business in which I buy plantains and retail. They market my profucts and continue to coach me on how to manage the business. I have been able to triple the capital they gave thanks to their mentorship and evaluation of my business. May the Almighty God bless Gwah
